San Diego Boardriders is a nonprofit dedicated to uniting the San Diego ocean community through education, intergenerational connection, and shared passion for surfing and ocean stewardship.

Who started the San Diego Boardriders?
A group of like minded San Diego surfers from a wide walk of life with a desire to honor San Diegos surfing history, culture, competition and help foster the next generation of local surfers.

What are the age divisions?
7 divisions with 4 surfers per division (U14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50 & up, Women any age).

What if I’m not interested in competing? How can I be involved?
The competition portion is just a tiny segment of a greater goal. San Diego Boardriders will be focused on building an environment where members can prop each other up and their surrounding communities thought inter club events and gatherings.
